Save the Environment and convert to waterless urinals

If all the water in the world was bunched up into a ball, its circumference would only be 700km! That’s not a great deal at all. Now take into account that less than 2% of that water is drinkable, it really makes you think; what are you doing to preserve water. The average person will use 150 litres of water per day, taking into account washing, drinking etc but when you take into account the water in our food, clothing, waster used in industry, the average person uses consumes around 3,500 litres per day! The demand on fresh water supplies has increased by 1% every year since 1939 and by 2050 the UK will have a serious water shortage. It is predicted that we will have 40% less water that is required to sustain the population growth.

So now that you know this, doesn’t it seem like madness that we flush fresh water down the drain every time we use the toilet? The average urinal with a flush sensor uses 60,000 litres of drinking water per year. If there is no flush sensor, it uses 150,000 litres of drinking water every year. If you had 10 urinals with no flush sensor, they would use in one year the amount of water it takes to fill an Olympic swimming pool!

So how do we fix this? The answer is… Change your flush urinals to waterless urinals. Not only will you reduce your water consumption, save money, reduce your carbon footprint, you will also provide your clients with washrooms that are five times more hygienic than washrooms that have a flush system in place. There are even urinals in the market now that have an advertising space built into the top of them so not only can you can save money, you can make money while people spend a penny!
